Housing and Reincorporation Strategies in post-Conflict Colombia: Mismatch of micro-level visions and macro-scale approaches

There is a consensus among scholars and policy makers that durable peace after violent conflicts contingent upon addressing affected communities’ livelihood needs and, in particular, housing. Post-conflict reconstruction challenging, but at the same time an opportunity to address pre-existing housing deficits. In this Update, we present ongoing endeavours of community former combatants establish mutual aid cooperative Colombia following agreement 2016 their efforts attain affordable adequate context characterised by fragile process unfavourable policies.
